Filipino Duathletes to compete against the best of the best at the 2017 Powerman Philippines Asian Championships

The feeling of focusing on the mental challenge of staying in the moment, pushing through the pain and pushing to the limit beyond itself is the aim of this year Powerman Philippines Asian Championships.

Whether you are looking for the opportunity to compete to be a national champion or participate in the most competitive duathlon in Asia., this race is for you. Powerman Philippines Asian Championships will test your limits to finish the race. With Clark Pampanga proves to be the perfect race venue for this year, participants will enjoy the interesting sceneries and the cascade mountain ranges on the other side, the historical buildings has become an international mecca for outdoor enthusiasts and people in search of healthy, active vacation destinations.

Now on its third year, the F&F International Events Group prides itself with being given the honor of this year's Asian Championship. Aside from promoting duathlon as a lifestyle, as a sport, and as an event, the main thrust for 2017 is to push the boundaries of the Filipino duathlete. The 2017 Powerman Philippines Asian Championships Presented by Summit Drinking Water is set to host a minimum of 800 local and foreign participants from all over the world, including elite athletes from the U.S., Europe, Australia, and Asia Pacific regions.

"The driving force behind this year's event is to bring the Filipino duathlete to the world stage by capitalizing on our duathletes' innate strength in running and cycling and providing them with the opportunity to compete against the best in the world. It's all about investing in the Filipino duathlete's potential, pushing their boundaries, and about expanding their competitive horizons, with the ultimate goal of sending our top Filipino duathlete to the 2019 Powerman World Championships in Zofingen, Switzerland," said Coach Kaye Lopez, Powerman Philippines' General Manager.
