SKYathon 2016: There’s nothing like the feeling of sand under your feet.

Running on wet sand has some physical benefits as a form of exercise, although there are some things you should be cautious of as well. During the summer months, I've regularly appeared in numerous hiking and running events. And because summer is here, the beaches are calling. 


Is it ok to run on a beach? There's a lot of considerations but end up with YES. Smile emoticon.


Every beach has its own personality. That’s what makes running on the beach so much fun, so enjoyable, and so different every time.

Beach running isn't easy. It's like running with weights on your ankles, this is actually the reason I decided to run this event barefoot. With or without shoes, it's harder to get your foot planted into the ground, and it's harder to get your foot up off the ground.


Running for me is pure enjoyment. I don’t run to compete, I run to feel the love of living a healthy lifestyle.
