Mt. Ugo/Traverse (2,150+)

Itogon Benguet Mount Ugo Mount Ugo Traverse Mount Ugu Nueva Vizcaya Ugo Traverse

Are you looking for an escape from the demands of the urban world? A place where you can bond with the locals, be with the nature and a place where you can spend you weekend without worries to rediscover oneself.

There's no better way to explore Mountain Province and Cordillera than to do the summit trail of Mount Ugo. It's jump-off point is located just by the Municipal Hall of Kayapa in Nueva Vizcaya.

Mount Ugo covers a complex of tropical pine forest that offers an opportunity to see rare birds, pitcher plants, a stunning sunrise/sunset and a spectacular view of the mountains plateau and valleys of the other side.

The trail takes you through four different and distinct types, normal, pine forest, open-wide and local trail. Traversing Mount Ugo has a total of 32 kilometer trail that can be completed in 2 days, 1 night.

To reach the summit of Mount Ugo from the campsite will take 15-20 mins trek with a finishing landscape view and a marker.
